The Log Cabin is just gorgeous and about the coolest place you can imagine staying in. It's like Jeremiah Johnson meets the Austrian Alps. The only difference is there are no mountains, just big hills and a beautiful fish-stuffed lake in the Canadian wilderness.
The Log Cabin is big and roomy with cathedral ceilings and an upstairs loft. It also has a screened-in front porch looking out over the lake. It's constructed in the authentic pioneer saddle-notch method of log building and is solid as a rock. It's fully equipped for housekeeping with everything you need such as lights, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, glasses, dishes, pots, pans and cutlery. Adjacent to the kitchen is a big kitchen table. The cabin is heated by wood burning stove. There is an additional propane BBQ outside.
The Log Cabin does not have traditional bedrooms. Beds are on the main floor and upstairs in the loft. If not needed the beds down stares can be moved out for more room.
The cabin has 3 single beds on the main floor and 3 single beds and a queen size bed upstairs in the loft. The cabin sleep 7 people or 8 people if you put two on the queen.
